Your starting scene is a complete four-wheel robot. The assembly links the body dimensions, carrier positions, wheel shafts, housing and roof.
- Understand the wheel attachment. Click “Inspect wheel attachment” to separate a wheel, shaft and carrier along their common axis. The shaft enters the actual bore in the carrier.
- Select and customize. Click a part in the scene or component list. Change its dimensions in the right panel. Changes remain part of this assembly. Matching interfaces follow the shared body dimensions.
- Work on one component. Isolate it, save its editable project, or export its STL / OBJ. Hardware references are visible to explain the assembly and are not printable wheel or motor designs.
- Keep the entire design. “Save assembly” saves all component dimensions. “Open project” restores an assembly or a separate component project.
Mechanical limitation: a round hole positions an axle but does not secure a hub-motor axle against torque. Use measured metal torque arms, retention nuts and suitable fasteners. The model checks geometric fit, not load capacity or print strength.
