A practical agricultural task
After baling, material is distributed across the field. Collection means repeated approaches, hydraulic handling, loaded travel and unloading. This demonstration makes those operations and their time costs visible, so load size and field layout can be discussed together.
The loading mechanism
A generic articulated hydraulic loader grips large square bales, lifts them clear of the ground, and places them into rear-first trailer slots. The tractor stays stationary during handling. A tilting bed then deposits an organized stack at the field edge.
The autonomous concept
Bale coordinates are synthetic, known map inputs. The route uses forward curved paths and aligned pickup approaches, with an articulated trailer connection. Target overlays explain the destination; they are not results from a real vision model. The machine is a concept, not a replica of a specific product.
What the controls change
Change travel speed live, or apply a new bale count and load size to reset the mission. Automatic trips can be disabled to wait for an operator request. An emergency stop freezes travel and hydraulic motion. Resetting the stop requires a separate Resume action.
Interpret the numbers
Travel distance, phase time, carried mass, delivered mass and bale counts come from the model. Time compression accelerates screen motion without changing the reported ground speed. The loading and stack arrangement are simplified kinematics; soil bearing, bale deformation, stability margins and certified load limits are not modelled.
