BACCHUS dual-arm harvester
Autonomous research platform using two robot arms to harvest grapes.
About this robot
The BACCHUS consortium built a dedicated mobile platform with two manipulators and tested it in a Thessaloniki vineyard during 2021–2023. The arms coordinate to locate, expose and cut grape stems. The separate BACCHUS inspection vehicle used an existing Thorvald platform and is not counted as another model here.
