Historical autonomous tractor-based research platform for precision crop and weed treatment.
About this robot
The 2010–2014 RHEA project built three ground robots using commercial tractor chassis. Different implements performed targeted spraying or mechanical and thermal weed treatment in wheat, maize and olive-grove experiments. The coordinated fleet was demonstrated with aerial scouting support; identical ground units are represented as one system.
