Vineyard research robot that places pheromone dispensers for biological pest management.
About this robot
The GRAPE experiment combined a mobile base, robotic arm and vineyard perception software. Eurecat, Politecnico di Milano and Vitirover developed autonomous navigation and manipulation for dispenser placement and plant monitoring. The work was reported in 2018 as an experimental agricultural robotics system.
