CROPS sweet-pepper harvester
Historical greenhouse research robot for autonomous sweet-pepper picking.
About this robot
The CROPS consortium combined a mobile greenhouse carrier, cameras, manipulator and fruit-cutting tools. WUR tested the integrated robot in a Dutch commercial greenhouse in 2014, with substantial difficulty in unmodified plants. This earlier demonstrator preceded the separate SWEEPER research system.
