Who is responsible

What the directory measures

We use limited first-party analytics to understand which robot and organization profiles attract interest, where the audience is approximately located, and which referring websites lead visitors to the directory. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in evaluating catalogue interest and improving product information. The reports count page views; they do not identify unique people.

When an eligible directory or profile page is rendered in your browser, it sends the page type and profile slug to this server. Each view has a new random delivery token so that a retry is not counted twice. The token is not reused to recognize you on other views. We record the time, page, approximate country, broad device and browser categories, referring hostname when available, and a shortened network prefix. Referrer paths, query strings, search terms and the original browser user-agent text are not stored in analytics.

How IP addresses and location are handled

The server uses the request’s IP address briefly to look up an approximate country in its local database, then reduces the address to an IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /48 network prefix before saving an event. The complete IP address is never saved in these analytics records. Country estimates can be affected by VPNs, shared connections, mobile networks and proxies. Shortened network prefixes can still be personal data; they are restricted to authorized administrators.

IP Geolocation by DB-IP is performed locally. Visitor addresses are not sent to DB-IP, an external location API, or an external analytics provider. A temporary network-based request budget reduces automated flooding. Its short-lived keys are not used to identify visitors or produce visitor counts.

Cookies, storage and choices

Analytics creates no tracking cookie, browser-storage identifier, cross-site identifier or device fingerprint. It does not inspect the directory’s comparison selections. If you are already signed in to administration, the existing authentication session is checked so that administrator and editor browsing is excluded; analytics does not create a new authentication session cookie for public visitors.

Requests with a Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal are omitted. You can enable either browser setting to opt out, or contact us. Recognized automated traffic and prefetch requests are also excluded. JavaScript blocking may prevent a view from being counted.

Retention and access

Detailed events and shortened network prefixes are retained for 90 days. Expired events are removed during automatic cleanup when the application runs. Aggregate daily, robot, organization, country, device, browser and referring-host counts are retained separately without network prefixes or per-view delivery tokens. The analytics reports, exports and settings are accessible only to directory administrators. Editors cannot access them.

The hosting provider processes requests needed to operate the website and may maintain separate security or server logs. Such logs and administration authentication records are separate from this analytics system. We do not sell visitor analytics records.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable requirements, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Contact Director@AdaptiveAgroTech.com for privacy requests. Because the directory does not create persistent visitor identities, we may not be able to associate aggregate statistics or individual view events with you.
