Privacy Notice
Digital AgroTech, the sole proprietorship of Dr. Ramin Shamshiri (Redmond), operates this product platform under the Adaptive AgroTech brand. We process information submitted through this platform to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders, provide support, prevent abuse and maintain business records.
Information we may collect
When you request a quotation we may receive your name, organization, email address, telephone number, country, requested products and the information you include in your message. The hosting server may also keep technical and security logs. These business and hosting records are separate from the limited visitor analytics described below.
Why we use it
We use enquiry and order information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform contracts, and to fulfil applicable legal and accounting obligations. We use limited operational information to protect and improve the platform. We do not sell quotation contact information.
Product catalogue visitor analytics
Visitor analytics is enabled for the catalogue and published product pages. Our purpose is to understand which products attract interest and the approximate countries, device categories and referral sources of catalogue visitors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in evaluating catalogue interest and improving product information. Only active Super Administrators can view or export these reports.
For new eligible visits, the server determines an approximate country using a local IP-to-country database and immediately reduces the IP address to a broad network prefix: IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /48. The full address is not stored in the new analytics event. We store the time, visited product, country when available, broad device and browser categories, and referring hostname. Referrer paths, URL query strings and the original browser user-agent string are not saved. Country is an estimate; shared connections, proxies, mobile networks and VPNs can affect it. IP Geolocation by DB-IP runs on this server; visitor addresses are not sent to DB-IP or another external location service.
No additional analytics cookie, cross-site identifier or device fingerprint is created. The platform’s existing session, also used for the cart and security functions, is used to avoid counting repeated activity within 30 minutes. Recognised bots, signed-in users and prefetch requests are excluded. We respect browser Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals by omitting those requests from analytics.
Detailed visitor events, including masked network prefixes, are kept for 90 days and removed during the next automatic cleanup when the application runs. Legacy visitor IP addresses are shortened during the automatic upgrade process; complete legacy IP addresses are never shown in the updated reports. Aggregate daily, product, country, device, browser and referring-host counts are kept separately without network addresses or session identifiers. Old aggregate totals without supporting detail remain unclassified. Analytics does not record quotation form contents, cart contents, passwords, or catalogue search text.
Retention and recipients
Business records are kept for the periods needed to process the relevant enquiry or contract and meet applicable accounting, legal and security obligations. Hosting, email and other technical service providers may process information needed to operate the platform. Access to administrative records is restricted to authorized personnel.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data where the relevant requirements apply. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Where consent is the basis for a particular processing operation, you may withdraw it for the future. Some business records must be retained to meet legal obligations.
